Hair loss can be treated when you can stop hair fall and promote re-growth. Here are some natural ways you could treat hair loss:

1. Vitamins A, B, C and E are hair promoters. Include them in the diet. Why are these vitamins important for hair loss? Their beneficial actions include: providing sebum, improving blood circulation to the scalp by increasing absorption of oxygen and collagen.

2. Importance of scalp care: Remember to massage your scalp regularly with herbal oils like olive oil, jojoba oil, amla oil. In conditions of alopecia areata, several oils are proven to be beneficial.

3. Concern for scalp abuse: Blow drying and using chemical shampoos daily are to be avoided. Chemical treatments like coloring as well as straightening damage hair and scalp. Even washing your hair daily with hot water will cause it to get stripped of natural oils and make it dry and brittle.

4. Herbal care: Use herbal powders such as amla, shikakai, henna and ritha to shampoo and condition hair. Amla powder is a powerful natural anti-oxidant that prevents graying and hair loss and is the richest known source of vitamin C in natural form. Shikakai, often called as the Fruit of hair, has a low pH. After this use henna as a natural conditioner.

5. Lifestyle: Stress is a very important factor in hair loss. Try and reduce stress by meditating and exercising. Quit smoking; the nicotine in cigarettes constricts blood vessels and decreases blood flow to the scalp. If you want to prevent damage to the scalp from UV rays, avoid exposure to the sun.
