What is the definition of toenail fungus?

Onychomycosis is the therapeutic word that is referred by all the Americans as toenail fungus. Toenail fungus is actually a living organism that grows on the nails and feeds off the keratin which is found in one’s toenails and fingernails. It is in general brown or yellow in color and is a type of fungus. One’s nails are fabricated in such a way that it becomes difficult to break through them naturally so ailments, fungus and many other type of infections can not penetrate ones body through his/her toes and fingers.
