If you want to take the natural way to health, then vitamins and supplements today will not qualify as many of them rely on chemicals. There is a great demand for these supplements though as many more are now taking them. One wonders however, if so many chemicals going into the body is a good thing or not. Human Growth Hormone is a hormone comprised of 191 amino acids, that is produced and secreted by the pituitary gland throughout our life. Our body produces it at the most rapid rate in young adolescence, petering off to around half the amount later on for healthy adults and even less for the unhealthy and/or elderly.
In fact our body does not assimilate the chemical supplements as easily as normal food particles. The industry is constantly striving to create products that are more easily processed by the body and therefore more beneficial. Industry constantly innovates and produces new ‘more bio-available’ forms of minerals and vitamins. To overcome this, a large number of mineral vitamins have been developed that combine other elements to enable them to be more easily absorbed by the body. Iron for example is administered as iron gluconate, enabling the body to absorb the iron more readily.
The amount of a nutrient in a mineral vitamin supplement needs to be far greater than it would be in a more natural form for the body to be able to absorb the amount that is required. This can bring up a problem where the consumption of excess increases the toxic level of the nutrient in question is more than what is needed. Therefore, it is very important that an individual doesn’t simply consume large quantities of all of the supplements that are being advertised on television and they should seek out the advice from a health professional. You also need to be aware of all of the developments that are taking place within the industry producing mineral vitamin supplements because they are constantly some better and new combinations that are being developed.
To aid absorption, manufacturers have developed a method where the raw material is cultured through yeast cells. This form of supplements are known as ‘food state’ and are up to four times easier for the body to absorb the required nutrients as the yeast is completely digested.
Of course, the need for mineral vitamin supplements depends on the diet that each person has. There isn’t any doubt that this is a lot more preferable for an individual to obtain all of the nutrients that they require from the food that they eat instead of taking the supplements whenever they find it possible. Supplements should be seen as temporary and not permanent as there are times when your body might need extra nutrients to stay healthy.

Mineral supplements are a contradiction today because they are not natural but chemical and so go against the natural concept of health. And yet, more and more people seem to be bent on taking vitamin and mineral supplements on a regular basis. This is due to the amount of debate that there is as to whether chemical mineral vitamins can be more harmful than beneficial in the long term.

It is a fact that normal food particles are ore easily absorbed by our body than chemical vitamin minerals. Constantly, the industry is striving to produce products are easily processed by the body which therefore would make them more beneficial. A new ‘bio available’ form of a vitamin or mineral is being brought out by the industry ever so often. Industries are finding a way to develop mineral vitamins combined with other elements which make them easier to absorb. One of the supplements iron, is converted to form iron gluconate to make it easy for the body to absorb the iron.
The amount of a nutrient in a mineral vitamin supplement needs to be far greater than it would be in a more natural form for the body to be able to absorb the amount that is required. However, this could also result in larger quantities of the mineral being absorbed than is needed resulting in toxic levels. It is therefore extremely important that a person does not simply take vast quantities of all of the supplements that are advertised on television and should seek advice from a health professional. You also need to be aware of all of the developments that are taking place within the industry producing mineral vitamin supplements because they are constantly some better and new combinations that are being developed.
The manufacturers of the vitamin supplements have started culturing the raw materials using yeast cells so as to aid better absorption. This kind of supplements, referred to as ‘food state’, is four times easier to be absorbed by the body as the yeast is biological and can be fully digested.
However, the actual need of mineral vitamin supplements is going to depend on each individual’s diet. The truth is that what you get from your daily diet is far better than having to depend on supplements to make up for any lack of nutrients. Supplements should be seen as temporary and not permanent as there are times when your body might need extra nutrients to stay healthy.
