Natural or Synthetic Hair Loss Treatment

Friday, March 20th, 2009

Androgenic alopecia is the most common type of hair loss encountered in men. In this the hair width decreases progressively, until the hair is lost completely and baldness develops. According to a research, androgenic hormone called DHT is the primary cause of baldness. Functionally, this hormone performs a number of important tasks or roles in male development, but when the level of DHT increases in scalp, it sticks to the hair follicles and prevent them from extracting the nutrients from the blood, necessary for hair growth. This compels the follicles to shrink & the width of the hair decreases. The hair width is determined by the width of the hair shaft, so as the follicles shrink; as the result the hair becomes thinner. Slowly and slowly, the shaft becomes so thin that no hair can grow at all.

Hair Loss

The solution to the problem is simple — decreasing the DHT level in body usually prevents hair loss. There are drugs(Real Versus Synthetic Diamonds) for the same but they have nasty side. In addition to this, their results are not universally accepted. A better solution to this is to use natural hair loss treatment. This works in exactly the same manner as synthetic drugs, i.e.by blocking DHT from binding to hair follicles. Since, they contains natural ingredients, they do not have any side-effects.
